Board of Directors
Thanks to the Junior League Get on Board Program, High Voltage welcomes Heather Guidry and Ashley May to the High Voltage 2011-2012 Board of Directors. Find out more about the Get on Board Program.
Board member responsibilities may include the following:
- Participating in raising funds and resources to assist
High Voltage in carrying out its mission - Advising on long and short -term planning
- Observing the management of the affairs and ascertaining that it is done in a businesslike, responsible and efficient manner
- Assisting in the promotion of the program through the media to the community
- Participating in reports to the community on programs and services
- Convening at least three times in a year (January, April and October) in the State of Louisiana
- Maintaining records of all official proceedings
- Total time commitment per month five-ten hours per month

Get on Board! (Non-Profit Board Training Program)
more information- Are you interested in developing leadership skills while learning to govern one of our area's nonprofit agencies? Many nonprofit organizations working hard to improve our region are facing enormous challenges and are seeking energetic, talented and qualified leaders to help them achieve their mission.
The Junior League of New Orleans is pleased to offer Get on Board!, a five-week course that focuses on training volunteers for nonprofit board leadership. The Spring Session will be held February 29th, March 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.
