Chocolate Santa Holiday Toy and Gift Drive
To honor the late Mr. Fred Parker, New Orleans' own Santa Claus, we are looking for a few elves to donate gifts for children or senior citizens on Giving Tuesday.

About The Event
High Voltage is dedicating our Holiday Christmas Toy Drive to honor Mr. Fred Parker, New Orleans own Santa Claus. Fred Parker, affectionately known as 7th Ward Santa, was "Chocolate Santa" for over 40 years or close to 5 decades. He would pose for Christmas photos with children all across New Orleans. High Voltage received permission from the Parker family to honor Santa and is looking for a few elves to assist with collecting toys on Giving Tuesday.
Some in our neighborhood have lost their jobs and can not afford Christmas toys. Additionally, many seniors are alone and forgotten during the holiday season and the Corona Virus Pandemic has had a adverse effect on many seniors. Gifts we want to give seniors include: soap, lotion, shower gel, slippers, blankets, tooth paste , tooth brushes, socks. Gifts we want to give children: toys and books.
