Tricentennial Day of Service Saturday May 26

New Orleans is turning 300, and we are celebrating in the best possible way by giving our time and talents to make a difference in the city we love in one of the oldest neighborhoods in America. We hope you will join us working in tandem with the residents of the Treme to better the neighborhood by picking up trash in assistance with the Tricentennial Neighborhood Grants. This project will be a day of service to the Treme Neighborhood. We will host a Tricentennial Picnic and Day of Service for Treme. We will gather neighborhood residents and volunteers to both celebrate the Tricentennial and “clean up” the neighborhood. As a part of our project, volunteers from the neighborhood will pick up trash to “clean up” Treme. This project will requires 2 hours, from 9:00-11:00am and will end with a Tricentennial Picnic from 11:00am to 12:30. This event will take place on Saturday, May 26, 2018. If you would like to be a part of this beautiful project register Now: http://volunteer.handsonneworleans.org/need/detail/?need_id=321351.
